Dino

Dino Nixon, fondly known as “Nixi”, is one of the newest additions to the Sydney Leo Warriors family, but he brings with him a deep passion for tennis-ball cricket and a strong understanding of the game. Having led and been part of his own cricket setup back in Tamil Nadu, India, Dino comes into SLW with genuine cricketing experience, leadership exposure and a love for the game that is easy to see.

On the field, Nixi is a wily and intelligent right-arm spin bowler who knows how to keep batsmen thinking. He is not the kind of bowler who relies only on one stock delivery. Instead, he mixes his pace, flight, line and variations cleverly, often forcing batsmen into mistakes. With many tricks in his armoury, he has the ability to slow the game down, read the batter’s intent and create pressure through smart bowling.

But Nixi is not just valuable with the ball. He is also a very capable batter who can clear the boundary with ease. Whether the team needs quick runs, a late push, or someone to shift momentum, he has the power and confidence to take the attack to the opposition. His all-round ability makes him a very exciting addition to the SLW squad.

As a newcomer, Dino is already showing the qualities of a true Warrior — passion, commitment, team spirit and a hunger to contribute. With his spin variations, batting ability and cricketing experience, Nixi adds depth, balance and a fresh spark to Sydney Leo Warriors.
